Supervision

My supervision training was with Cascade Supervision Training and Development, and has the philosophy of Inskipp and Proctor as an underpinning. This philosophy has an integrative approach to supervision and encourages the individual to find their own authentic style and honours different theoretical models.

The supervisory contract is negotiated mutually, and our work together will be to establish a robust and transparent relationship in which you, the supervisee, will feel able to bring the difficulties of this work, explore the issues that arise, and to celebrate the successes.

  • I work privately with qualified psychotherapists and those in training.
  • For several years I have provided group supervision to counsellors working for a local charitable service. This is for trainees taking on their first clients in a voluntary placement and for experienced and qualified counsellors.
  • I work in schools, supervising the pastoral care team and teaching staff.
  • You may prefer to have supervision individually or within a group.

All my work is undertaken within the BACP ethical framework, which means I am bound to confidentiality and that my work is fully insured and supervised.
